ENTREPRENEURSHIP FOR RURAL AREAS

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT

This project aimed to create success stories among the participants that will motivate them to see new possibilities for them and for the rural area. Thanks to the non-formal learning experience, through self-development among the participants there were created opinion formers and leaders on entrepreneurship, who have started to see the advantages of the rural areas, as well - its nature. Thereby the Youth Exchange was able to empower the involved participants to acquire the skills, that will optimize the potential of the rural areas.

The Youth Exchange set the following objectives and goals

Discover entrepreneurial potential of rural areas that would not be harmful for the environment.

Learn and promote how to use appropriate models of employability in the rural areas.

Promote healthy lifestyle with the help of outdoor team building activities;

Foster equality and raise awareness of common values of tolerance, empathy towards otherness and respect.

FOR WHOM

18-30y. old active young people from the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Russia, Germany, Ukraine, Armenia.

Participant's Profile

To have at least basic entrepreneurial, sales, as well oratory skills;
Good communication and negotiation skills;
Appropriate time management and accurate working abilities,
To be ready to share and gain information and knowledge with coworkers;
To be aware of own culture, understand and respect other cultures, be tolerant and have democratic views;
Eager to make changes in their country/community;
To be able to communicate in English.
