Project Description

150+ refugees applied for this project;

10 teachers involved in this project from: the Netherlands, England, Spain, Italy, Moldova, Russia, Poland;

Also involved: Education specialists, HR & Recruiting specialists.
To improve foreign language of refugees, support their inclusion process into Dutch labour market, prepare them for job interviews; work with recruiters and try to find a suitable job for them.
As a result the refugees will be the ones to have their input in economic growth in the Netherlands.
Levels/groups
✅GROUP 0: No English skills
✅GROUP 1: Basic word/phrases (e.g. ask for directions, understand responses)
✅GROUP 2: Low/medium level of speaking/reading/writing
✅GROUP 3: "Labour market" group with good English: Good ability to talk on general topics. Can write e.g. a letter, unaided.
The best teachers-volunteers for this project are the ones with English as 1st language (great knowledge of English), with experience in teaching and/or having passion in teaching (you do not need to be a professional teacher!)
