Wij hebben nodig

1. Wit diep bord (papieren)

2. Hand warm water

3. M&M’s in verschillende kleuren.

IMPORTANT! Make sure there's an adult with you for these experiments.

Ben je klaar?

Laten we beginnen!

ENGLISH TEXT

You can make your own rainbow with M&M’s and water!

How it works:

You see the color spreading first, and later also the white sugar. This distribution is called diffusion. Around each M&M you see the own dye. The colors run towards each other. If you wait long enough, they mix at the interface.

ABOUT THE BOOK

Stichting Bright Future’s innovative volunteers worked together and created a Dutch-English bilingual book for international children, using non-formal learning methodology. This book is illustrated by international children of between 9 and 15 years of age. Colourful pages, interactive and developing content, fun workshops and “scientific” experiments will not only be attractive for international young readers, but also for their parents. Thanks to the bilingual format of the book, international parents can try to understand the book without using a dictionary or online translator, thus practising Dutch together with their children in fun learning environment.

The book is created and published in the frame of the European Union’s Solidarity Corps project “Bilingual Book for International Children”.
