🇪🇺🇦🇲🇳🇱 As part of our Participate & Promote Democracy project, a policymakers' event took place in Armenia, bringing together international youth from the Netherlands and Armenia with policymakers, journalists, media representatives and youth organisations.
The event created a space for dialogue and exchange on democratic participation, youth engagement and the role of youth in decision-making processes.
Speeches were delivered by David Avakian, representative of the EU Delegation in Armenia, Marianna Sargsyan, Coordinator of the E+ Office in Armenia, Gohar Galstyan, Director of Louse Foundation and Mariam Kirakosyan, Director of Bright Future.
The event was also attended by Marieke Monroy-Winter, Ambassador of the Netherlands to Armenia.
International youth from Armenia and the Netherlands had the opportunity to exchange perspectives directly with representatives of institutions and civil society and discuss how youth can participate more meaningfully in democratic life.
