Our Youth Exchange "Roots and Rights" took place in Palermo, Italy, bringing together young participants from the Netherlands, Germany and Italy.
The project explored the intersection of environmental issues and gender equality through the lens of ecofeminism, using non-formal education methods. Activities included workshops, field visits such as Terra Franca (a land reclaimed from the Mafia), and intercultural evenings. The program fostered dialogue, sustainability awareness and cultural exchange, empowering participants to reflect on their roles in shaping a just and inclusive future.

Our international Youth Exchanges create non-formal learning environment and provide unique opportunity to the youth to gain and share international experience and knowledge on various important topics. Each participant of our exchange projects activities was given enough space to frame, promote, develop and practice skills in important nowadays Multicultural Communication.
The Bright Future Foundation is a Dutch non-profit organisation, that implements various successful projects under the European Union.
