Youths from EU and neighboring countries were involved in interactive Youth Exchange Activities in Bakuriani, Georgia, implemented by the Netherlands-based Bright Future Foundation & its great partners from 6 EU and neighboring countries.

It’s crucial to acknowledge and address instances of violence in the workplace. Whether physical, emotional or psychological, workplace violence can have long-lasting effects on individuals and the work environment.

The participants learned a lot on the topic, also shared and gained useful knowledge from the local youth, other stakeholders, invited in the frame of the Youth Exchange's activities.

However, Erasmus+ projects are not just about non-formal learning, but also about having fun! We came together to share our unique traditions!

The participants prove that now they are not afraid to experience themselves in multicultural environment and boost skills in cooperation with the youths from another countries.

All these act as a fundament of the long-term results and wider impact the Youth Exchange's activities had and still promise to have on the involved youngsters and their communities.

"Through our experience we managed to exchange practices for fighting against workplace bullying and harassment on different national levels.

"The project's goals were undoubtedly achieved! One key realization was how individuals from different backgrounds and cultures perceive issues of harassment differently. This highlighted the vital importance of clear communication and mutual understanding when discussing such sensitive topics.

This great Youth Exchange experience also contributed significantly to my personal and professional development. I’ve often found it challenging to deal with stress, especially in high-pressure environments, but this project helped me build resilience and stay composed in ways I hadn’t been able to before. I want to carry this with me and apply it both at work and in everyday interactions.

Also, our biggest takeaway from this project is how essential support and care are in any environment. The genuine concern from everyone around us made us feel seen and valued. In that sense, we had the opportunity to experience the importance of creating a supportive atmosphere, especially when challenges arise — something we will definitely apply in our communities, to foster environments where everyone feels included and cared for, even when things don’t go as planned. Also, as we learned, a supportive environment is crucial to preventing workplace violence, as we must stand up for each other".

The fun learning environment, positive energy, international relations and great time spent in a 4* comfortable hotel created unforgettable memories for the all participants. Now they all state they are a big international "FAMILY".

The Youth Exchanges' activities could not have even better results. And as the participants said: "Being an international family and having the best experience in the youth's life is the magic of Erasmus!"

Our international Youth Exchanges create non-formal learning environment and provide unique opportunity to the youth to gain and share international experience and knowledge on various important topics. Each participant of our exchange projects activities was given enough space to frame, promote, develop and practice skills in important nowadays Multicultural Communication.

The Bright Future Foundation is a Dutch non-profit organisation, that implements various successful projects under the European Union.
