TEAM - EU Solidarity Project 2022

 BILINGUAL BOOK FOR INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN
Great Volunteers and the Trainer of our "Bilingual Book For International Children" Solidarity Project. 

27 years old, the group leader and the main initiator of the project.

"Currently I work as a child psychologist in the Netherlands. Before I worked as a psychologist in an addiction clinic. The studies I have done: bachelor and master child and youth psychology in Utrecht, master Health psychology and technology at the university of Twente".





21 years old, responsible for the work with young illustrators of the project.

“Hi, my name is Anoush, I live in Amersfoort, Netherlands. And now I major in law at Utrecht University. I am a good listener and have good communication skills, which help me a lot while volunteering. For 2 years, I worked as a customer consultant in different places and got extensive experiences. My rich work experience has taught me a lot, and I’m glad I can use them in my volunteering work”.


30 years old, communication specialist, Volunteer of the project.

“Hi! I’m Andrei, a former journalist turned communication specialist, specialised in content creation and PR. I love getting together with my family and friends or making music in this little orchestra I’m part of as drummer.

I don’t like injustice and waking up way too early”.

27 years old, a care provider of social domain and conscientious volunteer of the project.

"Children have always attracted my attention. So uninhibited and pure. The latter is something I really love, when not only children but also adults are pure and radiate that. When I have a client sitting opposite me who is pure and transparent, I notice that the collaborative relationship is at its best. It is not easy to be pure and transparent, which is why we as care providers have to handle this with great care".

22 years old, active and considerate volunteer of the project.

"My name is Ani Babajan and I live in Oostburg with my family. I am at my 3rd grade of Social care training. What motivates me is that I like to help people by offering them the right care and guiding them to achieve their goals. In addition to my part-time job at Lidl, I also work at a care farm as a supervisor for children.

I am also a caretaker of my neighbor, who has muscle disease. This project provides me pleasant cooperation and space for development and education!"


𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗸𝗮 - talented young artist and an active volunteer of the project.

“Hi, my name is Veronika. For 2 years I lived and studied in New York (it was an incredible practice and experience for me). My dream is to be a concept artist. Also I like volleyball, ice skating and skiing. I don't like boring lessons and when it's cold. I enjoy volunteering for a useful and Solidarity goal - that's so great to be able to become change makers or motivate people with your positive example / your Solidarity project's efficient results!”.

What is it like to work with this great team and with Bright Future?

"I am so glad and excited to be a part of this amazing project. My teammates, our coach and the group leader are very supportive and kind, are able to work as a team and deliver efficient results. Bright Future Foundation is a place, where I can feel completely safe, can express myself fully and can be seen, trusted and supported. This Solidarity project aims to make positive changes in the neighbourhood. The idea of Solidarity is very important and motivates young people for new challenges, beginnings, great ongoing and follow-up projects. What our team does in cooperation with Bright Future Foundation and under the European Solidarity Corps motivates me to contribute more in Solidarity initiatives and embrace challenges more bravely!"


𝗜𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗮, specializes in development-oriented education and is the great coach of the project.

She provides help to the youngsters not only in the process, but also in final evaluation of this project and supports to achieve the volunteers' best learning results: she directs the young people, while planning the project's activities, reflecting on the project’s impact and sustainable results. Ilona ensures the volunteers are making efficient use of their time and resources, while planning the Solidarity project's activities.

This Solidarity Project is aimed to create and publish an interactive non-formal bilingual book (Dutch/English) for international children and their parents. The project is being implemented by Bright Future Foundation in Amstelveen by our active and initiative volunteers under the European Union’s Solidarity Corps.
